I have full public liability insurance, an enhanced DBS and up-to-date Safeguarding Training. I am experienced in leading small and large groups, and have many years experience working with children, their families and groups of elderly people.

Creative research: Zines
I often explore my own work through zines – interestingly folded and drawn mini-booklets. These help me to organise and show my thoughts through pictures, words, collage and colour. June 2025.
Your story, your Zine
I hold workshops for writers, readers and researchers to collage and create a Zine of their own about any topic they choose. These images are from PhD researchers at Nottingham Trent University, October 2025.
Tutoring and editing
I can work with you to refine your idea, polish your prose and balance your rhymes! The most recent debut author I worked with gained a contract and publishing for her children’s picture book about stars and constellations.
Public Workshops
In 2024 I worked with a Dementia and Memory Loss group and their families to write poems and stories and INSPIRE for work in community libraries. Prior to this I was employed by Writing East Midlands for their Elder Tree project. For Green Hustle 2024 I led workshops on environmental thinking and writing at Mammoth Cinema.
Reading for competitions
I have experience of judging short story and flash fiction awards. Most recently I was part of the judging panel for the 2024 Scottish Arts Trust Edinburgh Flash Fiction Award.
